Little Treasures is a collaborative artist-driven project with the mission to put together a merchandise box consisting of fanmade goodies centered around the manga Chiikawa. Through this merchbox, we want to cover the manga’s themes of friendship and perseverance that the characters face, and create merchandise for fans and newcomers alike.We are a group of Chiikawa fans that understand how difficult it can be to find merchandise outside of Asia, and are putting together the means to share the joys of Chiikawa and friends to a wider audience.Chiikawa and friends are characters that belong to Nagano on Twitter.You can also learn about Chiikawa and friends from the official site.

Hiya, my name is Blottedbunny but you might know me in the chiikawa community under the name Chiikabu. I am the graphics mod, but I also help out with various other things in the project too! This is my first time participating in any merchbox but I am so excited to be a part of this project!! In my sparetime, I run a shop online and blog about random stuff including Chiikawa!

1. What is a merch box?
A merch box is a set of merchandise based on the theme of the project (Chiikawa in this case) which can range from paper and acrylic merch to bags or anything that we can conceivably design and produce.2. Is this a zine?
No. There will be no booklet in this project, and thus it isn’t a fanzine.3. Is this project for charity or for profit?
This is a for-profit project, made with the intention to help our wonderful content creators further their paths as artists.4. How old do I need to be to apply?
We ask that all our contributors are 18+.5. How will contributors be compensated?
If proceeds allow, every contributor will receive a full merch box as a thank you for their participation in the project. Additionally, once all project costs have been covered the remaining funds will be split equally amongst all project participants.6. How many contributors will you accept?
We’re planning to have around 10 contributors, though this could be subject to changing depending on apps and the production cost of items our contributors create.7. Do I need previous zine or merch creation experience to apply?
No. However, if you have previous experience in merch creation, we encourage you to include it in your application to better show us the content you create.8. Do samples need to be Chiikawa?
No. You can show us whichever samples you feel best fit your skills or the style of merch you’d like to contribute to the project.9. Do you have a list of merch items for the project?
Not yet. We’d like to give our artists freedom to choose which items they’d like to design, within the parameters of a reasonable budget and offering a varied range of items and designs.10. Will this project be available for all ages?
This project will strictly contain safe-for-work materials and contain no content pertaining to relationships. The merch box may have small materials not suitable for young children, as it may contain choking hazards.11. Where will you ship from?
We’ll ship from the US. We are aware there is currently a list of countries that cannot receive packages from the US: we will do our best to offer shipping to these countries, but bear in mind this will require a stopover at a third country with the accompanying increase in shipping costs. We’ll provide a list of affected countries by the time preorders open, and shipping costs in the store will be marked accordingly.12. Will artists have to produce their own merchandise?
No, artists are only responsible for the designs of the goods. Production will be handled by the mod team.
13. Do artists keep the remaining stock, or will it be exclusive to their participation in the box only?
You will be able to keep leftover items and purchase remaining stock at production rate.I have another question!
